Woo hoo!

I'm finally graduating! It's such a relief! Phwee! It was a hard 3 years. Doing something that I didn't want, it was so badd.... but IT'S OVER! YAY!

I had my graduationg night at Carlton Hotel on 11 May 2012. I was cracking my brain the wholeeeeee day on what to wear, working on the night's theme of Noir et Blanc (black and white). I decided on a simple black evening gown and decided to just accessorise just the top half (:

I'm sure everyone is familiar with bathroom mirror shots before the event! *giggle* Raise your hands if you're ever guilty of it! *raise my hand slowly*

Out of the whole bathroom camwhoring session, this was the only decent photo (not clear, i might add) of the 2 of us. Moi and yunguan :D waiting for my other bestie, wee ling! fashionably late! :s

Some pictures of the menu and food! I was the only person consuming halal food so I had my own waitress :D *wink* Food was alright , I guess. but in HUGE proportion! whoa! I swear it was for 2 people! I mean, how can anyone eat so much?

It was an enjoyable and pleasant night (: nothing fantastic though! but I did win the 9th place in the lucky draw! hahahahah! $10 Jack's place voucher! Better than nothing I guess!

Since the last time I blogged before my LONG hiatus, I finished quite a few skincare / bodycare items! WHICH is a huge feat for me! I rarely finish anything and I will just sellt hem off when I get bored of it. I just constantly need something new in my life! hahah! have you ever felt that way before? Always wanting to try new things, never kept to one product before :S Bad habits die hard.

Anyway, I shall try to do an "into the bin" post every 2 months or so and kill that awful habit of mine!

Here are the finished products with a short personal opinion attached to each product!

Botanic Whitening Hydrating Mask

• Liquorise lightens & Grapeseed hydrates
• I actually enjoyed using this alot. My face always feel supple and fresher after each use. I don't know about the whitening effect thought as it was left with 20% when I bought it off someone.

TBS Aloe Calming Facial Cleanser

• skin-kind lotion proven to cleanse without irritating
• I believe this is in its old packaging. Personally, I loved using this as my makeup remover. After a long day, sometimes I do get lazy to scrub the make up off my face so I will just use this, just wiping off with a piece of cotton. Works just fine without rinsing. No sticky/ oily residue on the face!

TBS Aloe Calming Toner

• Comforting, conditioning toning liquid proven to purify without irritating
• Just an okay toner. Nothing fantastic. At least it doesn't leave my face tight and it removes any excess makeup!

Metholatum Acnes Medicated Powder lotion

• Prevent formation of pimples, refines pores, deeply cleanses & tones your skin
• I hate the powder. Makes my face chalky white. The toner itself gives my face a tight feeling and somehow makes me oil up like a grease pan. Ewwwwww.

Clean & Clear essentials self-foaming cleanser

• light foam gently cleanses without over-drying, helps to prevent pimples, oily shine & blackheads
• after using this product, I realise I love using foam cleanser more than other types like gel, liquid, cream. I will try other types of foaming cleanser first but this, I must say, is one of my favourite cleanser thus far! No tightness felt, but squeaky clean feeling! absolutely love it! <3

ZA Blemish Shoot lotion

• matte-finish lotion that tightens pores for smoother skin
• This is more like a toner than anything else. I love the matte finish that it gives me and it actually reduces the redness of my pimples! I *may* reconsider buying this if I can't find anything better!

Original Source Mint & Tea tree Daily Refresh Shampoo

• for all hair types
• I do not like this shampoo....... Smells horrible ): and my hair will always be in a tangled mess after using it! I'm so glad this shampoo is finally finished!

If you had read my past post, you would have remember that I participated in the Nike run recently! It was held on 14 April at Sentosa Wave house! And here is my timing!

Woo hoo! 32+ min! Rank 129! I couldn't be happier! It has been ages since I exercised - like 3 years ago? wowwwww... That is how lazy am. Prior to this run, I tried running 5 km twice at bedok reservoir. First time, I failed - threw up my breakfast! ewwww! second time, barely make it. So i'm pretty excited when I found out my personal timing!

Since this was a BFF race, I ran with my twin sister and we were ranked 33 with a combined timing of 1h 3 min! If you did your calculation, you would know my sis ran faster than me by about 2 min or so! Here's me and my sis right after the run!

Quite easy to tell us apart - i'm the one with braces of course! :D Anyway, it was a good run! I felt damnnnnn good after that! Wheeeeeee :D

Lastly, courtesy of Bai Capture photography, all runners were able to pose with their BFF and got this!
